Advocacy

Dr. Mehta is an active physician advocate and physician voice, with a mission to use her social media presence to transform and improve healthcare for both physicians and patients.  She often works individually and with her online physician communities to lead grassroots efforts to address issues in the current healthcare landscape. 

Her goals related to advocacy include impacting national legislation, updating state medical board policies, alleviating the physician PR problem, and causing awareness of the need for change in the medical system.  She hopes that her efforts to put a face on the physician experience will result in a more global understanding of the issues physicians struggle with on a daily basis.
